The D800 has just been announced and it has an impressive 36Mpx sensor. It replaces the soooo old D700 Full  Frame camera. Making it’s price drop so It was possible for me to get one So here I am with my very new « old » camera, and it’s fantastic performance in the high isos. I will get much better shots in low light situations like concerts, as well as some extra speed for sports without depreciating too much the image. So I’m selling my D300 and all my Dx lenses, and wait for my new full frame lenses: a sigma 15 2.8 fisheye, nikon 50 1.8, 85 1.8 (and the 70-200 2.8 that I already own). A 28 or 35mm prime will complete the family, but I want it to be as low as possible.
